sweet tuesday

hello there,
i've finally finished all my exams and can go back to blogging !
i still haven't tried the first idea in my last blog, the one with the jeans.
but this morning i studded some shorts i made.
witch is also a great idea.
IDEA 3
transform old jeans into shorts !
very easy, follow these steps

1.
Lay the jeans on a flat surface. Something such as a table or desk would be preferrable, since it is waist-high. Bending over on the floor might strain your back.

2.
Decide what length of shorts you want.

3.
Take a ruler and measure one inch more than you want them to be. You might want to lightly mark in pencil where your knee cap is while wearing them so that you can tell where they will hit. The inch is optional, though -- if you want to avoid the fringe on the end (the white strings that make up denim), then you need to incorporate the inch into your cutting. If you want the fringe, then this step is not necessary.

4.
Take your ruler and draw a light pencil line where you want to cut. This will help guide you in your cutting. Plus, pencil comes out in the washing machine in case you don't cut exactly on the line

5.Cut your shorts. To get the best results, use fabric scissors.

6.
Sew the cuff of your shorts. This is the extra inch, if you chose to incorporate it. To do this, take the extra inch and fold it out to whatever size cuff you want. This means take the material and fold it on top of the shorts, instead of under them. Sew the cuff with any color thread you prefer.

i made these shorts for example. but they are kind of badly cut but i don't mind.
i'm not planning to use them a lot, and the greatest thing about studs is that you can take them off and put them on something else. but you can't do it too often or the thing that keeps the studs stick to the fabric will break and fall off.

idea 4.

old t-shirt to a new tank, yes please.
just cut the neckline and sleeves off !
